En junio pasado se produjo la la tercera peor inundación en la historia de los estados de Paraná y Santa Catalina, en Brasil, donde el grupo Abertis, a través de su filial Arteris, gestiona 3 autopistas (Planalto Sul, Litoral Sul y Régis Bittencourt). A partir de ese momento, la Fundación Abertis canalizó las donaciones que los empleados de la compañía en todo el mundo han ido realizando hasta la fecha para para solidarizarse con sus compañeros brasileños.
El consejero delegado de Arteris, David Díaz, ha hecho entrega de dos cheques por valor de 25.000 euros, que irán destinados a los trabajadores de la compañía que se vieron afectados.
Desde el primer momento en el que se conocieron las inundaciones, Arteris se tomaron las medidas necesarias, movilizando equipos de voluntarios para poder entregar material de ayuda y prestando asistencia a los municipios afectados, colaborando con el traslado de muebles y pertenencias de las familias desplazadas.
