The cession of spaces that the abertis foundation offers to non-profit-making bodies and institutions has transformed Castellet Castle into a veritable melting pot for all manner of scientific activities, work sessions, symposia and conferences.

 

Within the setting of these services, on 28 January 2010 the Foix Natural Park Consortium, with the support of the abertis foundation, the Hàbitats Association (Rivers Project) and Barcelona Provincial Council, organised a day of debate on the River Foix, in which a number of projects, studies and actions in the setting of the Foix basin were expounded and debated by the University of Barcelona, the Catalan Water Agency, the Hàbitats Association (Rivers Project), the Centre for Mediterranean River Studies and Barcelona Provincial Council.

 

The conference, which was free of charge and open to all, was aimed at those individuals who could provide experiences, projects, proposals and questions on the matter.
