Barcelona: a model of urban development
The goal of the Economic Interest Group is to convey the experiences of Barcelona to other cities. The group was set up thanks to several public institutions and companies, including the abertis foundation and Barcelona City Council.
The main aim of this organisation is to share knowledge and experiences in fields such as town and country planning, mobility and transport, the environment and infrastructure, with other cities, especially those from countries that are joining the ranks of prosperous nations. The institution also seeks to make the most of this activity to achieve greater renown for Catalan enterprise on an international scale.
