The MACBA foundation
With the support given to the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art MACBA 
and
its foundation,
the abertis foundation assists with the dissemination of art from the second
half of the 20th century. Launched in 1995, the MACBA is a worldwide benchmark
for contemporary art and in 2008 it received in excess of 649,500 visitors.
