for another year running established its reputation as a platform for disseminating
the foundation’s activities.
In 2008 it achieved the greatest number of visits it has received since it was launched: a daily average of 663, up 13% on 2007. Moreover, the average time users spend on the web page also rose, exceeding 14 minutes.
The foundation website continued to offer web surfers with information about the research promoted, the lectures given at the events held, a specific microsite on the road education programme in schools, as well as information on the remaining activities carried out within all its spheres of action.
The most appealing content for visitors includes that relating to road safety, followed by areas associated with the environment. Moreover, the most highly requested publications over the website are the publication Nature and public use: mobility, impacts and proposals, as well as publications relating to road safety and the various abertis awards.
