Foix park, which is nestled among the counties of the Garraf, Alt Penedès and Baix Penedès, is home to highly interesting and yet little known vegetation, fauna, heritage and landscape.
The abertis foundation has promoted this study, to be conducted in 2009, to carry out more in-depth research on this area in Catalonia’s natural environment, thereby making it possible to become more familiar with the biotic environment of this protected natural area.
Professionals from the Vilafranca del Penedès museum and the Faculty of Animal Biology of the University of Barcelona will be contributing to this project along with the Catalonia i Territori foundation.
