IESE-abertis chair for Regulation, Competition and Public Policies
The aim of the IESE-abertis chair for regulation, competition and public policies, set up in 2006 by abertis and IESE business school, is to promote research, generate ideas and disseminate knowledge in the sphere of regulation, competition and public policies. The chair’s activities include write-ups on specific cases, research documents and articles, as well as the organisation of seminars and conferences.

- The publication of the book Information and Learning in Markets: The impact of market microstructure (Princeton University Press) and the release of Competition policy in Europe 50 years after the Treaty (Oxford University Press). The chair has also contributed on other books by handling certain chapters.
- The publication of the article Why and where do
headquarters move? in Regional
Science and Urban Economics

and the research document “Strategic Supply Function Competition with
Private Information”. The chair has also prepared the “Report on the European
Economy”. In addition, it has been responsible for the publication of
12 articles in the Spanish and international press. - Five round table discussions were organised in Catalonia tackling issues such as the crisis and the Catalan toll system, among others.
