Chair for Leadership and Democratic Governance
In conjunction with a number of institutions abertis promotes the chair for leadership and democratic governance, with the support of ESADE business school. The goal is to analyse models of social, public and business governance and to study and promote innovative forms of leadership to meet the challenges facing today’s society.
The chair promotes the book collections ‘Quaderns de Lideratge’ and ‘Observatori de Valors’ and contributes to several research projects. Within the sphere of training programmes, in 2007-2008 various academic sessions were given by acknowledged professionals including Mònica Terribas, Montserrat Guibernau and Joan Laporta.
The calling of the chair is to promote a forum for ongoing discussion between the organisations and their stakeholders. Accordingly, the chair is actively involved with the holding of conferences and discussions.
