Scholarships in Spain
Nationally the abertis foundation has for the third year running provided
support to the Josep Egozcue scholarships for students wishing to follow the
Master in Bioethics and Law promoted by the Observatory
for Bioethics and Law of the University of Barcelona
.
The foundation has also further cooperated with the Technical
Foundation of Catalonia attached to the Technical University of Catalonia and
with the Furthering Education Institute foundation of Universitat Pompeu
Fabra by granting partial scholarships for postgraduate studies offered
by said centre in Mobility Management.
Likewise, the abertis foundation also provided further funding for transport to university for the benefit of students in Castellet i la Gornal, the town where the Castell de Castellet, the headquarters of the foundation, is located. As of the 2002-03 academic year when this initiative was launched, all university students from the town have benefited from these grants.
