abertis Unesco Unesco Incendi Parc Foix

abertis’ environmental policy focuses on progressively establishing an environmental management system across the Group’s different companies, in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 international standard, with the aim of minimising the environmental impact of the Group’s activities.

In this regard, abertis is working to reduce the carbon footprint left by its economic activity, to optimise waste management and to conserve the biodiversity of the natural spaces where the infrastructures managed by the Group are located. At abertis, awareness campaigns are also being held to extend this environmental commitment to collaborators, clients and suppliers.

The abertis foundation has been a permanent member of the Foix Park Consortium since 2010. In this regard, and along with other environmental efforts, it has signed an agreement to help with the forest cleaning and regeneration work at the Foix Park conservation area (Alt Penedès, Barcelona), which was badly affected by the fire on 12 June.
