Environmental policy at abertis is focused on the gradual implementation of an environmental management system within the different companies in the group, in line with the requirements of the international ISO 14001 standard, in order to minimise the environmental impact of the group's activities.
In this respect, abertis works to reduce the carbon footprint of its business activities, to optimise its resource management and to preserve biodiversity in the natural areas in which the infrastructures managed by the group are situated. abertis also takes steps to raise environmental awareness in order to extend commitment to the environment to employees, customers and suppliers.
