"You’ve got one life left"

The aim of ‘You’ve got one life left: Don’t lose it on the road’ is to raise awareness among young people of the risks of driving, as well as to recognise responsible young drivers. Thus, drivers under 30 years old who give clean results in alcohol tests will be given a culture card and have the chance to win an English course in Ireland.

The campaign is supplemented by a microsite giving road safety advice. Visitors can also interact with the “9 lives in play” game which, in a fun, educational way, warns them about the main causes of accidents among young people.

The initiative aims to link responsible driving with culture and education, as the abertis foundation maintains that road safety is related to education in values more than skill at the wheel. The campaign is supported by the authorities, by civil society and by the abertis group.
