Effect on driving ability in patients with cirrhosis of the liver

The aim of the study is to find out whether patients with cirrhosis of the liver – or a sub-group of these – suffer any reduction in their ability to drive vehicles, so increasing the risk of traffic accidents. It also sets out to identify a procedure for detecting which cirrhosis patients are at the greatest risk of suffering accidents due to their illness so as to be able to take the necessary steps to avoid them.
