Collaboration conjointe avec le Ministère espagnol de la Santé et de la Consommation et avec d'autres compagnies pour soutenir le CNIC, une institution présidée par Valentín Fuster et dont l'objectif est d'être à la tête de la recherche cardiovasculaire au niveau mondial. Le CNIC a pour mission de définir un nouveau modèle de recherche transnational, à double sens, permettant l'application des connaissances de base pour le diagnostic, le traitement, le pronostic ou la prévention des maladies cardiovasculaires en apportant une réponse aux doutes d'ordre scientifique pouvant se présenter dans le cadre de la pratique clinique quotidienne aux côtés du patient.
